Mama Por Dios ((Scottsdale - Mamá Por Dios (mamapordios.com) ) is what I believe the most famous, hyped up restaurant in the Phoenix area. Mama Por Dios is located in the city of Scottsdale, Arizona. It is a different type of restaurant than the rest. The reason is because it is basically a mix of a restaurant and a night club. For example, you can take your family there to eat, but once you get in it definitely feels like a night club. The restaurant is dark with a bunch of neon lights. They also play loud club music, and serve some exotic alcoholic drinks for people who are over 21, of course. The restaurant looks pretty average from the outside, but from the inside it is totally different. The staff was also very friendly.

Mama Por Dios is said to be a Mexican, but they offer a lot of different types of food; not just Mexican. Something that really caught my attention is that they have a swimming pool outside. I got curious and asked why. They said that you can pay for VIP and they can serve you drinks while you are outside swimming. Of course, you have to be 21. Like I said, their menu(Mama Por Dios - Scottsdale Restaurant - Scottsdale, AZ | OpenTable) offers a lot of different types of food. Something that looked really good was the filet mignon. That is what I ordered. It came with a side of asparagus and mashed potatoes. It was really good. It tasted great and it was also juicy; not difficult at all to chew.

Overall, it was a great experience. This restaurant is unique, and I have never been to another restaurant quite like it. We went as a family when my parents came to town and everybody loved it. We all ordered different meals and everyone loved what they ordered. It is a pretty expensive restaurants and the alcoholic drinks are pretty expensive too. I would recommend going at night being prepared to spend some money. I give this restaurant an 8/10.
