Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant

 

Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant ( Peoria - Abuelo’s - Americas #1 Mexican Restaurant (abuelos.com) ) is one of my favorite restaurants. Again, my uncle was a big influence with my fascination of this specific restaurant. It is my uncle's favorite restaurant, and he took us there once to try it out. There are a couple of them out there, but I have only been to the one in Peoria, Arizona. At first glance, it is a beautiful building. It really looks like a Mexican hacienda. As beautiful as it is from the outside, the inside is much more beautiful. Beautiful hacienda style decorations, and the sky looks like the sky with clouds. The service was also really great. We took little to no time to get seated.

Abuelo's menu ( Main Menu - Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant Located In Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Arizona, Florida, Kansas, Virginia, Arkansas and South Carolina - Menu (abuelos.com) ) is excellent to say the least. It is mostly Mexican food, but offers a lot of variety. For example they offer enchiladas, tacos, burritos, fajitas, etc. We went for family night and we all ordered the steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas because that is what my uncle recommended us to get. I don't usually order fajitas because I'm not a huge fan, but these are the best fajitas I have ever had, and I continue to order them. This is what I recommend for anyone that wants to go give this restaurant a try.

Overall, Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant is a great restaurant to have semi authentic Mexican food, or maybe just go out for a date night. I wouldn't say the prices are affordable, but I also wouldn't say that it is expensive. The prices are definitely right for what the place has to offer. I would say it is even cheaper than what it should be. It is a beautiful restaurant with very delicious food. I'll rate this restaurant an 8/10. Not just because of the food, but because of the building as well. It was a great experience, and I definitely recommend.
